Superman's return to Earth after a five-year absence spent looking for the planet Krypton. He soon re-assumes his secret identity of Clark Kent, and discovers that Lois Lane has a five-year-old son. Not that that isn't bad enough, Lex Luthor has devised a devious new plan to defeat Superman.
